We love having fun and experimenting with new techniques when we shoot.

You can expect a lot of laughing! We never pose horses or people in a planned way. Horses are so quick to show their personalities we don't want to mess with that by faking it. People are the same way when modeling. With these types of sessions we prefer to catch our subjects in their most natural scene. We want our subjects to show their emotions and the only way to capture it is to photograph you while doing what you love.

For example:

If your horse likes his neck scratched, do it!

If your horse loves peppermints, feed them!

If you like riding bareback, let's do it!

If your horse likes to follow you around, let's photograph it!

PLEASE NOTE

We can shoot up to one hour doing whatever you'd like within reason. We will have a black background photography station set up inside or out, depending on the weather. We will have Christmas accessories for your horse if you'd like to shoot something festive. If the weather works out also, we can go outside and shoot in a field, driveway, garden, etc, or even in a small paddock so we can actually remove the tack and try to get some natural shots.

We can not go over the hour of reserved time. Keep in mind you will have less shots with each subject when we photograph multiple horses/subjects/scenes within your hour to ensure time shooting is divided equally.

We do not recommend wearing black.
